The area has lots to offer all our guests staying on the Park regardless of age -- the Fylde Coast and surrounding countryside is full of places to visit and things to do.

Blackpool

Blackpool has something for everyone with its excellent shops and entertainment, including the Tower, Pleasure Beach and the Theatres. The world famous Illuminations are also well worth seeing later in the season, starting at the end of August and run until early November.

Local Towns

Close by are the towns of Kirkham, Garstang and Great Eccleston, which hold their outdoor markets each week, including WI and Farmers Markets. The local villages offer their charm and a good pub lunch to keep you going throughout the day. You can enjoy a walk on the "front" on leafy Lytham Green and then let the ladies enjoy some shopping in Lytham town, where there are some very nice coffee shops to be found.

Day Trips

For day trips we are within easy reach of the M55 giving access to the Forest of Bowland, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the walks of Arside and Siverdale are all beautiful areas to visit.

Fishing

Close by are several well stocked fishing ponds for the fisherman; the rivers Wyre, Ribble and Lune are well fished and not far away.

Golfing

For the Golf enthusiast there are selection of Golf Links to choose from including The Royal, Fairhaven, Old Links and Green Drive Golf Clubs at Lytham St Annes, Knott End Golf Club, Fleetwood Golf Club and North Shore Golf Club and pay-and-play at the local Dover Lodge Golf Club.

Shooting

For the shooting fraternity the local clay pigeon shoot is not far away.

Relaxing

If you wish to enjoy the countryside at a more leisurely pace try a boat trip along the Lancaster Canal, or take a bicycle ride in the Fylde well known for being extremely flat and therefore not too strenuous. You can even engage in a spot of bird watching along the way -- and if you really want to take life easy just relax!
