Blackpool has something for everyone with its excellent shops and entertainment, including Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Winter Gardens and Blackpool's famous Golden Mile. The world famous Blackpool Illuminations are also well worth seeing later in the season, starting at the end of August and run until early November.

Local Towns

Close by are the towns of Kirkham, Garstang, Preston and Great Eccleston, which hold their outdoor markets each week, including WI and Farmers Markets. The local Lancashire villages offer their charm and a good pub lunch to keep you going throughout the day. You can enjoy a walk on the "front" on leafy Lytham Green and then let the ladies enjoy some shopping in Lytham town, where there are some very nice coffee shops to be found.

For day trips we are within easy reach of the M55 giving access to the Forest of Bowland, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the walks of Arnside and Siverdale are all beautiful areas to visit.
